BRT driver awarded honorary Formula 1 license after Lekki to CMS in twelve minutes

LAGOS — A BRT driver on the Lekki-CMS route has been awarded an honorary Formula 1 super-license by the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) after completing the journey in a record 12 minutes flat.
The trip, which normally takes between 90 minutes and 'whenever your prayer life kicks in', stunned passengers, three of whom reportedly proposed to other passengers en route.
Methodology under review
Lagos State Government has launched a quiet inquiry into how the time was achieved, with insiders pointing to 'extensive use of the median strip and a bit of off-roading near Civic Centre'.
The driver, who has asked to remain anonymous, said only: 'Time and money do not wait for any man.'
